On September 24, Dongfeng Stellantis Automotive Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (DSAT) and Momenta announced a global strategic partnership covering Peugeot and Jeep®. The two companies will jointly develop advanced driver assistance systems based on Momenta’s R7 World Model for new Peugeot and Jeep® production models. The systems will be introduced in China, Europe and other global markets, bringing Momenta’s intelligent driving technology to more vehicles worldwide.
The signing ceremony was attended by Cao Xudong, CEO of Momenta, and Lv Haitao, General Manager of DSAT, alongside senior executives from both companies. The agreement was signed by Cheng Jun, Vice President of Dongfeng Motor R&D Institute, CTO and Deputy General Manager of DSAT and Momenta SVP Sun Gang.
DSAT was jointly established by Dongfeng Motor, Stellantis and other partners. Under the partnership, Peugeot and Jeep® will work closely with Momenta on product definition and joint development to create advanced intelligent driving experiences tailored to the distinct character of each brand.
Building on strong vehicle engineering and chassis tuning capabilities, the teams will fine-tune steering, braking and powertrain response to match Jeep®’s off-road character and Peugeot’s driving dynamics — capable, enjoyable and reassuring.
In China, the partnership will bring Momenta’s intelligent driving technology to new Peugeot and Jeep® models. In Europe and other global markets, customers will be able to experience the same technology in brands they already know and trust, without losing the driving character that defines Peugeot and Jeep.
The partnership marks an important step in Momenta’s global expansion, bringing its intelligent driving technology to production vehicles from established automotive brands in China and overseas. It also reflects the shared commitment of Dongfeng Motor and Stellantis to bringing Physical AI to more vehicles and markets worldwide.
